Pick your music folders once. Groovex watches them, adds new songs and groups everything into albums, folders and playlists.

Free · Version 0.2.0Pick your music folders once. Groovex watches them, adds new songs and groups everything into albums, folders and playlists.
Read lyrics next to the playing song, add or edit them and save them right into the music file.
Mark sections of a song — intro, chorus — and click to jump there. Timelines are stored in the file tags.
An equalizer from 31 Hz to 16 kHz with presets like Pop, Rock, Vocal, Strong bass… plus a dedicated bass boost.
Shrink the window into a small player that stays on top: cover, title, play / pause and skip while you work.
Edit title, artist, album, year, genre and cover art — for one song or for a whole album at once.
Cut part of a song into a new file without losing quality. On Windows it also exports MP3 and iPhone M4R ringtones.
Ctrl+K opens search for songs and commands, and every shortcut can be remapped. Media keys and the system media controls work too.

That is what it was made for: play the music already on your computer by album, folder and playlist, plus lyrics, timelines, an equalizer and a mini player. On Windows you can make Groovex the default player right from its Settings.
MP3, FLAC, WAV, M4A, M4R and OGG.
