Privacy policy

1. Data stays on your computer

• Library: songs, albums, playlists, cover thumbnails and the paths of the music folders you choose.
• Settings, shortcuts, equalizer, play queue and window position.
• Error logs, so you can send them to us when you need help. Logs never leave your computer on their own.

Groovex has no account, no ads, no behavior analytics, sends no usage data and does not connect to the internet.

2. Your music files

Groovex only reads music files to play them and build the library. A file is written only when you edit its lyrics, timeline or song info, or save a cut as a new file.

3. Deleting data

Remove folders from the library in Settings, or uninstall Groovex and delete its data folder. Your music files on disk are not deleted.

4. This website

groovex.sandtechs.com uses no cookies and no analytics. The web server keeps access logs for operations and to count installer downloads.

5. Changes

If Groovex adds a feature that needs the internet, we will update this page and its effective date before releasing that version.
